Field Services
Volant Field Services delivers the on-site mechanical support needed to keep operations moving safely and efficiently. From rig up and torque work to pressure testing and rig down, our division is focused on precision, reliability, and execution in the field.
Every job is approached with the same standard: the right equipment, the right procedures, and attention to detail at every stage. We work with safety in mind, follow site-specific requirements, and help make sure every connection is ready before operations begin.
What We Do
Our field operations are built around a process designed for safety, efficiency, and dependable execution on location.
Mobilization
Our crew arrives on site ready to move. We handle the professional rig up of flowback iron, manifolds, mono-lines, and frac support, making sure every component is positioned for optimal flow and safety while following site schematics closely.
Torque & Pressure Testing
We provide professional torque and pressure testing services for frac stacks, flowback, BOPs, and holding back side pressure. Using calibrated equipment, our team ensures every bolt and union meets the required foot-pounds and that all pressurized systems are assembled, tightened, and tested to meet required specifications, safety standards, and operational integrity.
Testing
Once the iron is set, we move into the test phase. We perform on-site pressure testing to validate the entire system and monitor every connection under load, helping verify integrity before operations begin.
Demobilization
When the job is done, we handle the rig down with the same level of care. We safely disassemble the iron, organize it for transport, and help ensure the site is left clean and ready for its next destination.
Safety First
Before any tool is picked up on a Volant field job, the crew conducts a full Job Safety Analysis. Every hand has Stop-Work Authority — if something isn't right, we stop until it is.
